The Wee Tri 2025

After the success of our first Triathlon event last year the Wee Tri is back for 2025!
The triathlon is a 400m pool swim followed by a ~15km bike ride (road) and ~6km run, both along Glen Nevis.

Wee Tri 2025
Swim
There will be a staggered swim start based on your estimated swim time. These will be shared on the Google Drive link a day or two before the event.
Bike
The bike route is a out and back route along Glen Nevis with the turnaround point at the Lower Falls car park.
Run
The run route also follows the Glen Nevis road before returning through the forestry paths around cow hill and down to the leisure centre.
About the Event
We are hosting the Wee Tri again on Sunday April 13th 2025. The aim of this even is to bring back a local sprint-distance triathlon for people to give triathlon a Tri! The triathlon will take place at Lochaber Leisure Centre and will be a 400m pool-based swim followed by a ~15km bike ride (road) and ~6km run, both along Glen Nevis. There will be refreshments after the event and some exciting prizes on offer!
Based on the some feedback we received last year we have decided to open the Wee Tri to team entries!
Transition Details.
The transition area will be in the field adjacent to the leisure centre.
Event Timings
Saturday 12th April
18.00-19.00 - early registration
Sunday 13th April
07:00 - Registration and Transition open*
08:00 - Registration closes
08:15 - Transition closes
08:15 - Race briefing
08:30 - Swimmers wave 1 starts start
1300 - Prize giving and entrants raffle (or after last racer finishes, whichever is earlier)
*Please note the leisure centre will open at 07.30 so there will be no access to facilities before this time.
